On March 23, 1971, Petitioner entered a plea of guilty to the charge of burglary in the Cuyahoga County, Ohio Court of Common Pleas and, following a pre-sentencing investigation, was placed on probation for five years. On April 30, 1972, Petitioner was charged with violating the terms of his probation. Following a hearing on May 9, 1972, at which time Petitioner was represented by counsel, the court revoked his probation and sentenced him to a term of one to five years imprisonment.
